The highlight of this course with LTT was that my trainer visited me at my workplace and the training was face-to-face.
I attended their Open Day to explore what they have to offer. I was thoroughly impressed with the environment they had as well as how friendly the staff were.
My experience with my trainers were incredible, they were devoted for the success of the class. My classmates were great to be around as we all had different work and cultural backgrounds and shared our experiences.
My experience with LTT was brilliant. The training of face-to-face and the booklets were enjoyable.
I really enjoyed my course, as I found the trainers supportive, engaging and dedicated to their job. I thoroughly enjoyed my course, especially learning about microscopes and preparing/standardising solutions.
Six months after finishing the course at LTT, I landed a role at a mine site in WA working in Metallurgy Department.
I‘ve worked as a Laboratory Assistant at SGS, in the Central Specimen Reception Area at PathWest and a Laboratory Assistant at QEII.
My trainer helped improve my resume and provided me guidance on how to apply for jobs, and I was successful in my application for STATS Australia.
The course gave me the opportunity to improve my time management, problem solving, laboratory-based training and communication skills.
I love chemistry and this course made me feel more confident about what I am doing in this industry.
After finishing the course, I have climbed the company ladder. The course helped me to develop more precise and accurate documentation.
Next I want to complete my diploma with LTT and TAE (training and assessor) to become a trainer.
I choose to study at LTT because its close to home and they have a great choice of class availability.
My favourite part has been learning the UV-Vis spectrophotometer, this knowledge has helped me get a job in a laboratory at ALS as a Senior Laboratory Assistant.
I went for a job interview at SGS. By the end of the interview, they offered me the position!
Thank you, Matt and Rob, for making the hard parts of this course easy for me to understand and making the training a fun experience.
My favourite part was the group environment, learning more techniques and gaining a better understanding of how to be a better trainer by offering a more holistic approach.
