Trainer Assessor, Pathology Collection
South Brisbane, Brisbane QLD (Full-Time)

Do you have experience in a pathology collection?  We'd love to hear from you!

We’re looking for a Trainer Assessor, Pathology Collection to join our Brisbane team. Contract is flexible to suit the right candidate.

A day in the life

Leveraging your passion for teaching, you’ll be responsible for equipping the next generation of phlebotomists with hands-on, practical skills in pathology collection!

Your enthusiastic and friendly approach will inspire students and assist in securing work placements with our partner pathology providers. In addition to classroom work in our South Brisbane training centre, you may deliver on-site training to our workplace clients (with the possibility of travelling to interstate and regional areas from time to time).

Reporting to the Training Manager East, you’ll have the opportunity to work as a crucial part of a small, close-knit team while enjoying the support of in-house resource developers, quality, compliance, corporate and marketing staff.

 Must-haves

  • Experience in pathology collection

  • Valid driver’s licence and own car

  • A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40110 with additional units of competency)

Bonus points

  • HLT37215 Certificate III in Pathology Collection

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills

  • High level of computer literacy

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Experience in the education sector

  • Experience in laboratory settings

Trainer Assessor, Laboratory Operations (Chemical Mineral)
Osborne Park, Perth WA (Casual)

We’re currently looking for a trainer and assessor to join our vibrant and dynamic WA team.

Leveraging your passion for teaching using your industry experience, you’ll be responsible for equipping staff in the chemical and mineral sectors with hands-on, practical laboratory skills in planning and conducting tests, recording and analysing data, maintaining a laboratory and more!

Your enthusiastic and friendly approach will prepare students with the technical competencies they need to advance their careers. In addition to delivering on-site training to our workplace clients in Perth (with the possibility of travelling to regional areas from time to time).  You might also be involved with the training centre trainers to deliver classroom-based training.

You’ll have the opportunity to work as a crucial part of a small, close-knit team while enjoying the support of in-house resource developers, compliance, and corporate staff.

Must-haves

  • Relevant laboratory qualification (e.g., Diploma of Laboratory Technology, or higher), and sufficient industry experience within chemical and mineral laboratories

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills for this customer facing role

  • High level of computer literacy, and advanced MS suite skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Ability to take initiative

  • Valid driver’s licence and own car

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116, or TAE40110 with TAELLN411 and TAEASS502) - candidates nearing completion would be considered

We’re currently looking for a casual trainer and assessor to join our vibrant and dynamic WA team.

A day in the life

Leveraging your passion for teaching, you’ll be responsible for equipping the next generation of phlebotomists with hands-on, practical skills in pathology collection!

Your enthusiastic and friendly approach will inspire students to seek a career as a phlebotomist. In addition to classroom work at our Osborne Park training centre, you will be visiting students at the collection centre to sign off on the work placement component.  Additionally, you may deliver on-site training to our workplace clients (with the possibility of travel to regional areas from time to time).

Reporting to the Training Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to work as a crucial part of a small, close-knit team while enjoying the support of in-house resource developers, compliance, and corporate staff.

Must-haves

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a phlebotomist

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills for this customer facing role

  • High level of computer literacy, and advanced MS suite skills

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Ability to take initiative

  • Valid driver’s licence and own car

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or TAE40116, or TAE40110 with TAELLN411 and TAEASS502) - candidates nearing completion or willing to complete the qualification would be considered
