“I come from an Indigenous background of both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island, I grew up in my hometown Injinoo which is one of the five communities in the Northern Peninsula Area also known as the NPA located at the most northern part of Queensland.
I am currently working for Metro Mining PTY LTD. I started working in the Laboratory as a trainee and did training on the job through LTT and completed my Certificate III in Laboratory Skills. I am now a qualified Laboratory Technician.
I have found the course very interesting and have enjoyed learning new things. I hope to one day become a lab manager.”
