“I’m from Philippines, my background is advertising and I have 3 kids. Before studying at LTT Melbourne, I was a home baker and doing catering.
I chose to study the HLT37215 Certificate III in Pathology Collection with LTT because the duration of the course and the location of the training centre suited me. The course was really good and exciting for me. The course was actually more than I expected. Our Trainer/Assessor was Amit, he was very helpful and supportive. He explained the topics to us clearly and he taught very well.
My favourite part of the course was learning how to collect blood! I enjoyed all the practical assessments really, but I love learning visually and in person. Days after finishing my work placement, I got a job as a pathology collector for ACL.
Life since graduating has been very good for me! I’m still working with ACL and I’m loving my job! My confidence has come back, and I feel like I’m doing something good for myself and others.
My daily tasks include collecting blood and other specimens from patients, as well are making sure that the patient and myself are in a good and safe environment.
The best decision I made in 2021 was studying at LTT. LTT changed my life and are a big reason I am the person I am today.”
