“Prior to studying at LTT, I was a stay at home Mum running a small online home décor and craft business. I had been working in the retail industry on a casual basis in various parts of the country for a number of years. I have always wanted to be involved in the health care/medical field in some capacity. With my youngest child commencing high school, I thought this was my time to make the change. I researched a few options and having heard good things about LTT, that is where I chose to study. Everyone I spoke to at LTT was so helpful and friendly, it seemed like the best place to be.
The HLT37215 Certificate III in Pathology Collection course was great – both Lauren and Amanda were super supportive, encouraging and very knowledgeable. The course was challenging with the amount of information we learnt in a relatively short period of time. However, Lauren was always there to help if needed. I have to say, the first bleeds we did were the most stressful part of the entire course and a day that I will never forget – now they are the easiest part of my job!
For now, I am happily continuing my training with Clinipath Pathology and enjoying every day. Making the change to a pathology collector is one that I don’t regret, and I thank LTT for helping me start this journey. ”
