“I worked as a sample prep and geochem lab in 2021-2022 with no experience or qualification. I asked my employer if I was able to gain a qualification that is relevant to my line of work. They decided to partner me with LTT and was enrolled into MSL40122 Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques. At the beginning of my course, I was beginning to doubt myself and wanted to give up, however my trainer did not give up on me and told me to keep going. If it wasn’t for him, I would’ve not been able to complete my qualification. When we got over the hurdle of deciding to continue, I found that completing the practicals was my favourite bit of the course. I hope to move up within the company and possibly look at upskilling in the future. ”
