How to apply
Our online application and enrolment process is designed to be as simple and straightforward as possible. However, there are a few things you can do to prepare. If you need any assistance with your application or choosing the best course for you, please contact our team on 1300 588 588 or info@ltt.edu.au, or drop in to one of our regular info sessions.
1) Research the course you're interested in
If you’re interested in studying with LTT, please read through the course information on our website carefully to ensure you understand the requirements of the program and any applicable fees. Before enrolling, you should read and understand our policies and student documents.
2) Estimate your fee
Fees will be displayed on the course page. If any government funding program is available for the program, click the ‘Check Eligibility’ button to answer the relevant questions. Concession fees are sometimes available for funded students. Contact us if you are unsure whether you are classified as a concession holder of if you qualify for government funding.
Please note: Concession fees are not available for full fee paying (fee-for-service) students.
3) Create or find your unique student identifier (USI)
Students undertaking nationally recognised training need to have a USI issued by the Australian Government in order to receive a qualification or statement of attainment.
You will need to supply your USI during your online application.
Click here to create a USI or click here to find your USI
In the USI Registry System, you can also give permission to LTT to view your VET transcript to:
Arrange for recognition of prior learning / credit transfers
Verify your training records
Permission can be granted for a specified period and removed at any time.
4) Take copies or photos of your supporting documents
Identification
During registration, you will need to upload copies or photos of at least two forms of identification (both sides), including confirmation of your citizenship status or permanent residency (e.g., green Medicare card), your photograph, current residential address, and date of birth (e.g., driver's licence).
Concession
If you are a concession holder and applying for a government-supported training place, you will need to upload a copy or photo of proof of your concession entitlement (e.g., Centrelink Health Care Card).
Prior qualifications
You will need to upload a copy or photo of your prior qualification/s if you hold any (including a year 12 high school certificate, if available).

We’ll review your application to make sure the course is a good match for you. We’ll also check your eligibility for any applicable funding programs (if you have applied for a government-supported training place) and ensure you meet any criteria to study the course.
We will contact you to discuss your registration and explain the remainder of the process, including how to complete the LLN assessment.
