This Infection Control Skill Set is delivered by LTT Group Pty Ltd (RTO 51621) and describes a set of skills to follow organisational infection prevention and control policies and procedures, including implementing standard and transmission-based precautions and responding to infection risks in the workplace.

• 30 nominal hours (blended delivery online and supplementary workplace evidence).

This Skill Set is supported by the Australian Government and the Government of South Australia. Training is intended for delivery to one staff member per business site.

A participant course fee of $15.00 is expected to be paid by the individual or their employer.

Students will be required to undertake an eLearning module which includes an online theory assessment as well as practical workplace assessment.

Entry into this unit is open to individuals who:

• Currently work in a customer-facing role, including business owners and supervisors, in Health related services in South Australia, and

• Are an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent Australian resident or an eligible visa holder, and

• Are 16 years or older and not enrolled at school, and

• Have access to a computer, the internet and have basic computer skills.
